This is a lot of five new, unopened Sony 4mm x 60 meter DDS tape cartridges. Sony states that this cartridge is compatible with all DDS drives, including DDS2 and DDS3 and it has a native capacity of 1.3GB. (Even though Sony says they are compatible with all drives, they may not work some DDS-3 or DDS-4 drives.)

Many of our recent sales of these have been for audio DAT recording. For this purpose, I am told, that they have to be recorded on (recorded "black") once to be recognized by the DAT deck and they may need to have some audio smaples recorded on them to fast torward correctly. They will record about 120 minutes at a 44.1 sample rate.
